David Sackman is the long-time Chairman and CEO of LRW Group, a global analytics-driven marketing services company. He is also the visionary behind AppliedVR®, the leading medical virtual reality company that is working to help solve the opioid epidemic in America.
Recently distinguished as a Tech Visionary by SURVEY Magazine’s Technology Trendsetters, Sackman’s ultimate goal is to use Virtual Reality to help create positive behavior change to make the world a better place, a topic on which he presented a TEDx Talk in London.
Prior to joining LRW over 30 years ago, Sackman was Director of Research at Columbia Pictures, headed Marketing for the Winchell’s Division of Denny’s Restaurants, and led Marketing for the Group Health Services Division of American Medical International. He led the growth of LRW from a $5MM local company to a $200MM+ company with clients in more than 40 different countries.

President, Chief Operating Officer
As the President and Chief Operating Officer of the LRW Group, Jeff manages the global execution of the portfolio of LRW’s businesses. Jeff has over 25 years of marketing, consulting, and academic expertise, having advised management teams on strategy, branding, product development and operations. Jeff completed his BA at the University of Kansas, and his Master’s degree and doctoral work at Northwestern University, where he taught and received a University Fellowship.
Chief Financial Officer
Cathy heads up all things financial at LRW Group, as she manages the company’s overall portfolio to set and meet fiscal goals. She also oversees LRW Group’s acquisitions strategy and is always on the lookout for great companies and leaders that match well with LRW Group’s mission and values. Cathy joined LRW Group as Chief Financial Officer in 2014, and she has been an influential leader who’s helped to double the company’s revenue in the years since. She previously served as chief financial officer for Added Value and European chief financial officer for Millward Brown. All told, she has more than 20 years of financial and operational business experience. She holds a B.A. in Accounting and Business Administration from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL.
President, Integrated Marketing
With over 20 years of experience in strategic and creative marketing, including building and ultimately selling her own advertising agency Pitch, Rachel joined LRW Group as President of Integrated Marketing, tasked with integration across all agency offerings to ensure our clients have the advantage of a fully streamlined approach that focuses on the unique set of business solutions the company has to offer. She also supports M&A, identifying opportunities within LRW’s offerings, crafting relationships with potential acquisition targets and supporting across the entire process.
Jeremy was tapped in 2018 to serve as the fifth president in LRW’s storied history. In this role, Jeremy oversees day-to-day operations of LRW, LRWTonic, and LRWMotiveQuest, ensuring that these companies are leaders in a world of rapid change for marketing, experience, and insights. Jeremy takes special pride in delivering impact to individual clients, their companies, and LRW’s employees through sophisticated analysis and deep human understanding. As part of this, he places a big priority on developing the next generation of leaders at LRW.
Jeremy joined LRW in 2008 as a research director and quickly rose through the ranks. Most notably, he co-founded LRW’s Pragmatic Brain Science Institute®, which uses behavioral science to provide companies with a holistic understanding of humans and competitive advantage. He also served as a key advisor in the development of LRW’s Digital Analytics practice that launched in 2018, and has had his hand in many other innovations across his years with the company. Jeremy holds a Ph.D. in psychology from University of California, Santa Barbara and a B.S. in psychology from Union College in Schenectady, NY.
An in-demand speaker on topics such as behavioral science, innovation, branding and identity, Jeremy has delivered a number of keynote speeches on these subjects alongside the likes of Malcolm Gladwell and Daniel Pink. Jeremy was also part of an LRW delegation invited to the Obama White House to meet with cabinet secretaries and the surgeon general to explore how virtual reality can be used to reduce racial bias in law enforcement. He also takes pride in mentoring psychology, economics, and business PhDs as they transition to their professional careers.
Originally from New York, Jeremy now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and son. Outside of his home and office, he likes to stay active through a variety of fitness activities, including yoga and cross training. When he goes on vacation, though, he’d much rather unplug and relax. Morocco, Tulum and Belize are among his favorite exotic destinations.
After working in the Clinton White House and winning the coveted Emmy Award as a producer for NBC News, Tom founded Kelton with a vision of bringing a journalist’s eye for the human story to the world of insights and strategic marketing. In the 15 years since founding the company, Tom and Kelton have been called upon to inspire marketing strategy and innovation for Google, Nike, Target, General Electric, Amazon, Whole Foods, Facebook, Harley-Davidson, Starbucks, and more than 100 of the Fortune 500.
As CEO, Tom’s primary responsibilities are to ensure Kelton continues to evolve and grow, adding design, strategy and communications functions without losing a fundamental passion for understanding what makes people tick. As with all great journalists, Tom is a natural-born listener; it’s his ability to intuitively understand what clients need and how Kelton can help that’s led to the company’s success and growth across the globe.
Tom settled in Los Angeles in 2000 and has lived near Venice Beach since 2007. He utilizes his almost boundless energy to balance the joys of family and friends with active leadership roles in Young Presidents Organization and Martis Camp, a high-profile community in Lake Tahoe.
Co-Founder and President, Kelton
As Co-Founder and President of Kelton, Gareth is a driving force behind the company’s strategy, culture, and success. With nearly 15 years of experience in insights and communications, Gareth has led Kelton through its transition from an insights firm to a strategic consultancy known for insights-driven branding, design, and innovation solutions. Today, Gareth manages the day to day operations, sales, marketing, and finance teams at Kelton.
Before starting the firm, Gareth was a political journalist (one of the youngest-ever members of the White House Correspondents’ Association) and an embedded reporter in Iraq during the war’s early days. Additionally, he appeared regularly on CNN, Fox News Channel, and nationally syndicated radio to discuss topics ranging from global geopolitical affairs to consumer behavior. The same inquisitive nature that made Gareth a successful journalist have fueled his passion for human-centered strategy and design.
Gareth was born in India, grew up in London and Washington, DC, lived for a year in Chile and attended college at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He’s an avid runner, basketball player, reader, debater, and father of three children – in reverse order of importance. Gareth is also the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at A Place Called Home, which provides academic tutoring, psychological counseling, arts, dance, sports, college scholarships and vocational training for at-risk youth in South Central Los Angeles.
SVP, General Counsel
Scott is responsible for enterprise-wide legal, compliance and risk management functions for the LRW Group. Scott most enjoys designing systems and solutions which allow the business to stay on the cutting edge while staying compliant with ever-changing regulatory requirements. Scott has been practicing law since 2000. Prior to joining LRW, he was a vice president and associate general counsel at Dun & Bradstreet, a recognized leader in the commercial data and analytics space. Early in his career, Scott worked for several law firms, including AmLaw 50 firm Holland & Knight, as well as at Carlsmith Ball, where he became one of the youngest attorneys to make partner in the firm’s history. He holds a JD from UCLA School of Law and a B.A. in economics from the University of California, San Diego.
